We are very excited to bring the Summer Park Program back for the summer of 2019. The summer park program is a structured program held in the Oreana Park during the month of June. We will have staff on-hand to supervise and lead activities, games, crafts, free-play, and other fun in the sun.
The Summer Park program is held Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9am-Noon from June 3rd through June 28th.
The Summer Park Program is for children ages 6-12, who have just completed Kindergarten through 5th grade. For safety reasons, children under 6 years old are not eligible for the park program. However, the park is open daily from 6am-9pm and parents are encouraged to visit the park with their younger children, but must remain with their children at all times.
To offset the cost of the program (staff, supplies, etc), there is a fee of $25.00 per child. This fee is non-refundable, regardless of program attendance, etc. There will be an additional charge for the special events. Please see the registration form for details.
Registration will be held at the Oreana Park. The registration dates and times are:
Tuesday, May 28th from 3-6 pm.
Friday, May 31st from 3-6 pm.
To save time, click here to download and complete the registration form. Bring the completed form, along with a check made out to the Village of Oreana to one of the above registration times. Registration forms will also be available at the above registration dates.
In the event of severe weather, excessive heat, or other extreme weather, the park program may be cancelled. Cancellations will be posted on the Village Facebook page, as well as oreanail.com. We will also notify WAND-TV and WSOY-AM. Alerts will also be texted to parents who sign up for texting alerts. To sign up, all you have to do is text “PARKFUN” to 84483.
